YACHT CHARTERS
A Yacht Trip Without the Guesswork
Chartering a yacht comes with its own vocabulary: base rates, APA, crew gratuity, cruising grounds. We know how it all works, so you do not have to learn it. We find the right yacht and crew, walk through the contract with you, and plan the route and the time ashore around how your group likes to travel.
Bespoke Bookings Co. has planned luxury travel since 2015 and is IATAN accredited, with one dedicated advisor from your first call to your last day on board.
Popular Cruising Areas
Each area sails differently, and the season matters as much as the yacht. Somewhere else in mind? Ask us.
Greece
Cyclades beaches and villages, or the calmer Ionian islands.
Late May to early October
Croatia & Italy
The Dalmatian islands, the Amalfi Coast and the Aeolian Islands.
June to September
French Riviera
Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Monaco, with Corsica a day’s sail away.
June to September
Caribbean & Bahamas
The Virgin Islands, St. Barts, the Grenadines and the Exumas.
December to April
THE BEST YACHTS BOOK EARLY
Most crewed yachts are chartered by the week. The most popular ones fill July and August in the Mediterranean, and Christmas and New Year in the Caribbean, months ahead of time. If you have dates in mind, start early. Late spring and early autumn are quieter, often better value and still warm enough to swim.
What We Take Care Of
You tell us who is coming and how you like to travel. We handle everything below, and your advisor stays on call while you are on the water.
The right yacht
Two or three yachts that suit your group, with crew profiles, sample menus and the full estimated cost side by side. Motor, sail or catamaran, we explain the difference.
A route that fits your days
A swim in a quiet bay, lunch in a fishing village, a night out in port. The captain decides on weather, so we keep a backup plan for each leg.
Time ashore, arranged
Restaurant tables, private guides and drivers ready when you drop anchor, with free time left in so the week never feels rushed.
The contract, explained
We go through the charter agreement with you: APA, taxes, payment schedule, cancellation terms and what happens if weather changes the plan.
Your preferences, sent ahead
Food, drinks, allergies, wake-up times and favorite activities go to the crew before you board, so the galley is stocked for you.
Flights, hotels and transfers
Flights timed to boarding, a hotel the night before if you land late, and a driver between the airport and the marina.
OUR PROCESS
We handle the planning, so you can step aboard with ease
Whether you want a few quiet days at sea or a full week of island hopping, Bespoke Bookings plans every trip around your pace and preferences. You enjoy the water. We handle the details.
Yacht charter questions
The things people usually ask before their first charter. If yours is not here, ask us on your consultation.
How much does a yacht charter cost?
It depends on the yacht, the season and where you sail. The cost section above explains what goes into the full price, and we give you one estimate that includes all of it before you decide.
Can we combine a charter with hotel stays?
Yes. Many clients add a few nights in a hotel before or after the charter, or island hop by ferry with a private day charter or two along the way. We plan whichever mix suits you.
Do we tip the crew?
Yes. A crew gratuity is customary, commonly 10 to 20 percent of the charter fee depending on the destination and the service. We tell you what is typical for your yacht before you go.
How long does a charter need to be?
Most crewed charters run for a week. Some yachts accept shorter trips, especially outside peak season. If you would rather stay in hotels, a day charter or two is an easy way to get on the water.
What if someone in our group gets seasick?
We take it into account when choosing the yacht and the route. Catamarans and larger yachts are steadier, and shorter passages with more time at anchor make a real difference.
Are yacht trips good for children?
Many are. We look for yachts with water toys, a safe deck layout and crew who are used to families, and we plan shorter sailing days with plenty of time to swim.
