Does booking a cruise with an advisor cost more than booking direct?
Cruise fares are set by the cruise lines, so the price of your stateroom is typically the same either way. Our planning is quoted separately, based on the scope of your trip, and you will know that figure before any work begins.
How far in advance should we book?
For the widest choice of suites and sailing dates, nine to eighteen months ahead is ideal. Book earlier still for holiday sailings, Alaska in summer, Antarctica, and popular European river cruises. Shorter timelines can work, with fewer options.
Ocean, river, or expedition: how do we choose?
Ocean ships offer the most onboard variety and reach coastlines around the world. River ships carry fewer guests and dock in the center of town, which suits travelers who prefer culture to pool decks. Expedition ships trade nightlife for naturalists, small boat landings, and places like Antarctica and the Galápagos. We will help you weigh each one against how you like to travel.
Which stateroom or suite should we book?
It depends on how you plan to use it. Some travelers want a private balcony for every sunrise, while others are rarely in the room. We consider the ship layout, noise, motion, and the itinerary, then recommend the category that gives you the most for your budget.
Can you plan a cruise for a large family or group?
Yes. We coordinate multigenerational family and group cruises, including connecting staterooms, shared dining times, and flights from different home cities, so everyone arrives at the pier with the same plan.
Can you plan a honeymoon or anniversary cruise?

Do we need travel insurance for a cruise?
We strongly recommend it. Medical care at sea and evacuation from a remote port can be costly, and many health plans offer limited coverage outside the United States. We help you compare policies so you understand what is covered before you sail.
What happens if something goes wrong during the trip?
You have an advisor who knows your itinerary. If a flight delay threatens embarkation or a port call is canceled, we work with the cruise line and your other suppliers to adjust your plans.
